Born in Key West, Florida, and raised in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, John earned his B.A. from Augustana College and his J.D., cum laude, from Valparaiso University School of Law, where he served as Articles Editor of the Law Review and as a leader of the Moot Court Society.
John is licensed in Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, with special admissions in multiple other states. He serves on the Chicago Advisory Board of the Concussion Legacy Foundation and supports numerous charitable causes. For more than a decade, he served as a volunteer coach in local youth sports.
